Alien Chariot of the Gods Act 1

The year is 2183, the USCSS Montero drops out of FTL and the crew of 6 slowly wake up. Soon it becomes clear that they are at their expected destination of Sutters World. Mother reveals to Captain Miller that they are now on a rescue mission as they have picked up an SOS signal. After some triangulations and fighting a nagging sensor glitch from Rye and Daniels they find the USCSS Cronus drifting in space at 3% the speed of   light. With some fancy flying from Davis who casually shuts down a few proximity alerts as they loop around inverted to match course Captain Miller orders four of the crew into suits, leaving only Daniels and Wilson behind. After inspections it turns out all airlocks are damaged or broken, in the end it's decided to force the main airlock open and connect the umbillical.

Inside the ship is eerily dark, quiet and cold. Exploring Deck A they find the Cryo Chambers with some of the Cronus crew still... alive? Quickly checking deck B they find that the bridge is dead, however shortly thereafter Cronus' Mother bring power back online announcing that the crew is being awakened. The airscrubbers make a loud   clunking noise but the temperature slowly rises. Daniels finds some interesting mold or fungus growing in the Showers next to the Examination and Cryo Chambers. Meanwhile in Cryo the crew of the Cronus slowly starts to awaken. They are desoriented and confused as they wake up from their long hypersleep. Their Doctor Cooper immediately complain about headaches.

Rye and Cham the roughnecks decide to risk their lives to fix the now electrified scrubbers, where they encounter the same fungus. Being rather safe then sorry they decide to burn it all off. Cooper starts clutching his head, and as he's being examined on the table in the Examination room something gruesome happens. His head bulges, his eyes pop out and out from his lifeless corpse bursts a small monstrosity. It hisses and jumps at the Montero crew while the Cronus' crew is cowering, then it leaps off and into an airvent.

Whatever will happen next is still unclear...!
