Cruising the Canals & Rivers of the Netherlands

This 2023 edition includes one dozen new pages and a complete update of all other pages, with attention paid to the current Frisian-language names for the waterways, matching current ANWB and Waterkaarten charts usage. Water depth and bridge height (clearance), as well as the name and index number have changed for most waterways.

This book of maps, photos and waterway data tables is a guide for planning travels along the inland waterways of the Netherlands at the helm of a private canal cruiser, barge or rental boat. It not only shows where a traveler can go but also why you might want to go there, and gives details for use in planning an itinerary. Also useful for bicycling, walking or car travel following the many waterway routes of Holland. The book features maps and itineraries of many suggested routes, and detailed city/town maps.
